1. Who we are

East Texas Tactical Firearms Training ("we," "us") is a federally licensed firearms dealer and training provider operating in Beaumont, Texas. Reach us at sales@eastextactical.com or (409) 673-5075.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to fulfill orders, run classes, and answer questions:

• Account info: name, email, phone, password (hashed), shipping/billing addresses
• Order info: what you bought, when, where it shipped, how you paid
• Class enrollment: name, contact info, the session you registered for, add-ons
• Inquiries: contact form messages
• Site analytics: page paths visited, timestamp, anonymized session ID, device class. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other third-party tracking. Our analytics are first-party and stay on our server.

We do not store payment card numbers on our server. Card processing is handled by Authorize.net, a PCI-compliant third party.

3. How we use it

• Process and ship your orders
• Confirm class enrollments and send schedule details
• Respond to questions you send via the contact form
• Send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and class reminders
• Send marketing emails — but only if you've created an account with us, and you can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email
• Improve the site (which products are popular, where visitors come from, what they search for)

4. Who we share it with

We share your info only with:

• Our payment processor (Authorize.net) to charge your card
• Our shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) to deliver your order
• Our suppliers (Safe Life Defense, Propper, etc.) when an item is drop-shipped directly to you
• Government agencies when required by law — including ATF for firearms transfers, where applicable

We do not sell your data. We do not rent your email list. We do not share with advertisers.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies for essential site function only:

• Login session (so you stay signed in)
• Shopping cart (so your items persist between pages)
• CSRF protection (security)

We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear cookies anytime in your browser settings.

6. Your rights

You can:

• See your data: log in at /account to view your orders, enrollments, and saved addresses
• Update your info: change name, email, phone, password, addresses anytime in your account
• Delete your account: email us at sales@eastextactical.com and we'll close your account and remove your personal data within 30 days. Order records may be retained for tax and ATF compliance purposes.
• Unsubscribe from email: reply to any marketing email with "unsubscribe"

7. Data retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Order and FFL transfer records are retained as required by federal and state law (ATF requires bound book records to be kept for 20 years). After that, we delete them.

8. Children

This site is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted info to us, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Texas residents

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you have the right to confirm whether we process your data, access your data, correct it, and request deletion. Email us at sales@eastextactical.com with the subject line "Texas Privacy Request."

10. California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale of personal data (we do not sell). Email sales@eastextactical.com with the subject line "CCPA Request."

11. Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date at the top and post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days.
