School Safety Officer State Certification
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) School Safety Officer / Certification Program is primarily based on the Texas School Guardian Program model. It is legally anchored in state legislative mandates, specifically Texas House Bill 3 (HB 3) and Texas Government Code § 411.1901.
We work with school administrators to design training that fits the district — classroom on policy, lock-down protocols, threat recognition, and live-fire qualification with the carry firearm.
