BUG match on September 10

The match on September 10 will be a backup gun (BUG) match.  The criteria for BUGs from the IDPA handbook follows:

  • Either single or double action.
  • Either pistol or revolver.
  • .32 auto or larger.
  • Barrel length of 3.8″ or less (semi-auto) or 3″ or less (revolvers)
  • Maximum (total) number of rounds that may be loaded into the handgun is five (5).

    • As BUGs are typically CCW’ed in non-IDPA legal holsters, no holster will be required. All scenarios will start either from low ready or unloaded on a barrel.
